I just bid on this original unused set of Holly Hobbie dolls from the 1974 and I'm hoping the smell won't be too funky.
If it is, they'll be off to the cleaners anyway. Can you direct me to a cleaner of stuffed toys and canvas bags with leather handles?



My sister and I had the coolest toys when we were kids. I loved dolls. I had Barbies, Bionic Woman, Charlie's Angels, Baby Alive, Action Transfers, Shrinky Dinks, Silly Putty, Sea Monkeys (that didn't look like those aliens when they "hatched"), all sorts of board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, and tons of Sanrio.
That's why it's hard for me to say no when it comes to my kids. I cannot justify buying myself a bag and not getting what they want.
Sometimes I feel like life is too uncertain especially in these times, so I want us to have fun today.
I want the kids to enjoy their childhood and look back with fondness. Or that's just me.
I'm feeling senti about Holly Hobbie, due to a reader's recent comment on the Mara Clara post.
I do miss Holly Hobbie. I know I'll win this because nobody else is crazy enough to want it but me. Hehe.
