I can't tell you how many Porters I have in my collection. I should take a picture tomorrow, if I can find them all.
The first Porters I had were the Tanker shoulder bags.
They are addicting. Once you start, you can never stop because they are affordable, stylish, very high quality, and very Japanese.
In Japan, where the bags are known as Yoshida, Porters are no big deal and used by many salary men.
As for me, I can't stop buying them.
Today, the first temporary Porter store opens at Rockwell on the 2nd level of the Power Plant Mall, Archeology wing.
I was invited to sneak peek this evening inside the pop-up store designed by Jappy Gonzalez and Mano Lotho.
I love this floor!
Homme et Femme owns the store. They're testing the Philippine market by introducing the iconic Tanker collection.
Prices are not bad! I did not buy anything though as I have many pieces from the Tanker collection.
Then again I might come back this weekend...
But you must go and see that nice bags need not be so expensive.
The great thing about these bags are all the organizers inside—if you're O.C. like me.
Plus they're unisex. I love this bag.
This can be a roomy DJ's bag, if you will.
Jappy hires the most stylish people who understand the products.
I really hope the brand takes off in Manila so they bring in other styles as there are a LOT.
I am so excited.
Like them on Facebook.
