Louis Claparols for Ensembles Holiday Collection

Louis Claparols, elected president of the Young Designers Guild (YDG), is one of the most celebrated fashion designers in the country.
He started out with by embellishing jeans for special clients and became known for his best-selling beaded Imelda tees.
He credits YDG as having "opened a lot of doors for me. I wouldn’t be where I am now without the banner of the guild."



After the success of Ensembles by Debbie Co last year, Ensembles is delighted to take Louis Claparols on board.
For Holiday 2010, Louis Claparols for Ensembles consists of art deco-inspired dresses, tops, skirts, boleros and trench coats.
Louis says the collection was "inspired by a lot of things—from architecture to graphic art to my favorite movies. I played with a lot of lines and shapes and cutout prints to make it really graphic and playful."
Each piece features intricate retro-print cutouts mixed in with colorful stretch fabrics to achieve a look that's both crisp and flattering.
