I didn't expect to be almost sold out within 24 hours.
I have to say I underestimated my market and didn't buy enough (duh)!
It just so happened that one afternoon while Cedric and I were in Hong Kong, I spent an afternoon at the garment district and thought, I should sell some stuff online and see what happens.
I was alone and bought only what my two hands could carry. Plus it rained, so I had to stop.
Next time I will definitely buy more and bring a cart!
Here's the giant box we shipped last time.
The bottom part were all the stuff I sold online, followed by four lamps from Innermost and four lamps from Ikea.
These were topped with Cedric's clothes and shoes!
Cedric's stuff fit in two giant Ikea bags that are as big as maletas. Note that these are Cedric's personal clothes (aside from the 20 kilos he actually checked in the plane), while all the stuff I sold online (114 pieces of clothes and accessories) were only one Ikea bag.
Here's what the maids were saying as they were fixing Cedric's stuff:
"Ano ba to ang daming tusok-tusok." (studs)
"Paano ba to sinusuot?"
Just to give you a clue, here's one of Cedric's closets in L.A. as featured in Rajo Laurel's blog:
Welcome to Cedric's closet!
Promise to buy more stuff next time. Sorry for all the orders I had to turn down.
Thank you for the warm reception! And now, back to work.
