This September 18, 2011, Louis Vuitton will open the very first LV Island which will float on the waterfront of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
To mark the event, they have produced a special animation featuring the Little Groom, offering us a sneak peek inside the Marina Bay Island Maison.
The Louis Vuitton Island Maison is one of two stand-alone glass and steel crystal pavilions designed by architect Moshe Safdie as part of his overall design for the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort.
The inside of the pavilion has been designed by Peter Marino, featuring nautical inspired interiors.
The Louis Vuitton Island is the fifth Louis Vuitton store in Singapore, the first Maison in Southeast Asia and the 12th Maison in the world.
Visitors can access the Louis Vuitton Island three ways: by outdoor bridge, by boat disembarking on a jetty, or from the mall via tunnel and ascending travelator which will lead them to the center of the pavilion.
Aside from offering the complete range of Louis Vuitton products, the Maison will incorporate art and cultural elements within its retail space, as well as a specially curated book store on travel, design, art and culture.
