Ronac Art Center at night
The place could easily fit in clean and modern Singapore, and we're promoting it because we need more places like this to multiply and thrive in our city.
The wooden floors are teak from Indonesia
This place always gets full
Right next to it, a very cool yoghurt place
Not yet 100% complete, architect Arnold Austria toured us around its many nooks, crannies and secret rooms.
He took us to the Secret Fresh Art Gallery, which I loved.
It had these "nipples" by Reg Yuson, which reminded me of our wall "breast".
I bought the painting on the right
which reminds me of Richard Prince's nurses.
Loved this too, by Dina Gadia
My boys were fascinated with this—everything not allowed in our home
This is a collaboration between two artists
This is by an American artist (Big Boy knows all the names, sorry I didn't take notes)
Jeroen's favorite
Then Arnold took us to his office, Jagnus Design Studio, which is at the basement of the building.
The other half of the company is the equally talented Sonny Sunga.
Love their office, which uses inexpensive materials made to look cool yet functional
This early, our boys have a fascination for unique chairs
Amazing what they can do with such a small space
Ronac Art Center is located on Ortigas Avenue, Greenhills.
