The Japan Foundation Manila presents the Seshami Street Boys on February 26, 2011 at the Atrium of the Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City.
Formed during their college days at the Tsukuba University, the Seshami Street Boys are composed of Pierre Ono and Torami Yasuto and known for their straightforward and comedic style.
Using the shamisen (a three-stringed musical instrument), the Seshami Street Boys have become a staple in the Tokyo street scene as well as various events like the Daidougei World Cup.
The concert is part of the Nihongo Fiesta 2011 which will also highlight the 38th Nihongo Speech Contest, the 3rd Nihongo Quiz Bee for High School students and the Paper Plane Workshop of Yoshinori Nishihara.
All Nihongo Fiesta 2011 events are open to the public.
