Last January 27, 2011, my friend's daughter realized she lost her ATM card.
When they called the bank's hotline to block the card, they were informed that her balance was just about PHP 3,000, compared with the last time the girl checked, it was around PHP 18,000.
According to the bank, the last withdrawal was made on January 24, 2011 at 1:54 PM* at the Benpres Building in Ortigas Center.
My friend's daughter was sure she didn't make that withdrawal because at that exact moment she was hauling herself to P.E. class at UAP (University of Asia-Pacific, which is very near said bank).
She asked to see the CCTV capture, just to check if "someone I know took the money, because the person was able to guess my password."
Two weeks later, my friend's daughter was able to see the video. She asked the bank if she could photograph or video the video, they said no, but where there's a wheel, there's a car.
*Note that time and date match the last withdrawal as reported by the bank's hotline two weeks prior.
She has no idea who he is, so if you do, please email chuvaness@livejournal.com.
Kids, if you need a CCTV like this, it's not that easy unless you are a Preferred Client.
Know that banks keep their tapes up to one month only, so act fast.
