I once had a randoseru or standard Japanese school backpack in red, with bold letters in white, HIDEO WAKAMATSU.
It cost a small fortune during that time, but I didn't care. I just had to have it.



I used to hit people accidentally due to its bulky size.
A few years later it started to peel. Sadly I had to get rid of it.



Randoserus come in many colors, and cost anywhere from US$200-$400 each.



Perhaps the English version of the randoseru is the Cambridge Satchel which also comes in many colors, I can't choose!



They are less bulky, unisex and so chica.



Unlike the standardized randoseru, Cambridge Satchels come in four sizes.
The good news is, they are available at Schu stores in Rockwell, Glorietta and Trinoma; and Madison at Rockwell.
And the prices are good!

As for me, I seem to be leaning towards a personalized yellow batchel.
