Miharayasuhiro

I've always associated Miharayasuhiro with sneakers—I have one pair.



In a nutshell, the Japanese designer started experimenting with shoe design when he attended Tama Art University.
He started his company in 1997 and opened his first store called SOSU, in Shibuya in 1998.
In 2002 he opened his second store in Osaka.
Since 2000, he has worked on the PUMA Mihara collaboration.



In 2002 he debuted his label Miharayasuhiro in Florence, Italy.
Today he is recognized as a cutting edge designer synonymous with unique Japanese design.



Oh, he is married.
And he designs amazing bags, like this mutated Birkin from Club 21 in Bangkok.
My friend Jay saw it first and said the other foreigners in the store didn't know what to make of the bag.
They found it hideous.



Makes us want it all the more, so Jay got me the black one and I'm over the moon.
Don't get shocked if you see me with a "Birkin". I have not gone to the dark side!
It's 1/10th the price and it's Miharayasuhiro.
