Why I never fly PAL

People ask me why I never fly PAL. Because I value my life and sanity, convenience and efficiency. Here's another reason why:

On December 18, I booked two flights to Singapore for our Pepper Lunch staff's training abroad.
Upon receiving the etickets, I realized I had made a mistake of booking them a 12 midnight return to Manila, instead of 12 noon.
Immediately I tried to go online to retrieve my booking—you know how you can do it on Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines websites? But no such button exists on the PAL website.
I sent an email to PAL Online Booking and communicated with Colette who was supposed to help me change the departure to 5:10 PM.
That was December 18, 2010. We exchanged a couple of emails and I never heard from her again.

The holidays passed and now I'm trying to confirm if the tickets are correctly booked.
I call PAL and find out I'm going to be charged US$180 per passenger to only change the time. WTF??
On top of that, I have to physically go to the PAL office to pick up the new tickets as etickets cannot be reissued by email.
Take note that I have successfully changed my flight on Cathay Pacific online without having to speak to a person or pay an extra charge.

I asked PAL how much a refund would be: US$100 per ticket.
So it's cheaper to get a refund and book new tickets??
That's it. I'm never gonna book PAL again.
Our local carrier is the worst. Your website says a lot about you.
For how can you run a decent airline in this day and age when your website doesn't even work??
If your website sucks, imagine all the other things that can go wrong.
That is why I never fly PAL.
