I ordered two Martha Stewart cake stands from Macy's, shipped via Johnny Air.
However it arrived like this. I think whoever packed it from Macy's didn't really care.
In fairness to Johnny Air, they didn't charge me for the shipment because of a severe delay. It was ordered on November 3, and I received the box just before Christmas.
I wrote a quick email to Macy's customer service with a link to the photos, explaining that returning them wouldn't make sense as I am all the way in the Philippines.
Now Macy's is honoring a refund to my credit card. No further questions asked no more pain.
