After Penguin disappeared earlier this year, the last of my reasons to go to Malate has been struck by fire.

Report: Fire hits restaurant in Manila’s Malate district

Fire of undetermined origin razed a two-story restaurant in Manila's Malate district Monday night.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire that hit the Cafe Adriatico at the corner of Adriatico Street and Remedios Circle, radio dzBB reported Tuesday.
The fire started at 10:45 p.m. and lasted 30 minutes before responding firefighters put it out.
