Inspired by the 1940s Parisian fashion house of Madame Gres, Randy Ortiz reinterprets classic shapes into easy, ready-to-wear pieces that vary from one-shoulder Grecian tops and dresses, blousons, tunics, slip dresses and wraps.
Playing with fluid silhouettes, Ortiz decided to channel Madame Gres due to his fascination on the use of silk jerseys for her designs. "Soft draping and ruching is one technique you’ll find in the collection," he says.
