Two foreigners were allegedly robbed on Tuesday in Pasay City by still unidentified men dressed in police uniforms, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said.
PNP spokesperson Agrimero Cruz Jr. said in a text message that a Singaporean national and a Malaysian national were forced to ride a car and were taken away by still unidentified men along Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City at past midnight on Tuesday.
Although police are still investigating the incident as of posting time, the Pasay City police investigation unit said the two foreigners were robbed, and not kidnapped as earlier reported.
Local police also declined to identify the whereabouts of the foreigners pending investigation of the case.
