Back in the day when we didn't have all the gadgets you have now, we enjoyed simpler things in life, such as reading the comics page in the newspaper. Imagine that.
Cartoonist Larry Alcala's "Slice of Life" series was probably our favorite on the pages of Weekend Magazine.
Alcala would depict a humorous aspects of Philippine life, which needed no words. You just had to look at what everyone was doing, and more importantly, find the iconic drawing of Larry hidden in the picture.
This was way before the first book of Where's Waldo? appeared in 1987.
Now you can take a slice of Larry and wear it with you as Solo launches a tribute collection featuring Alcala's drawings on graphic tees, polo shirts, tops, dresses, and accessories.
Find them at Solo stores. For locations or to view the entire collection, go http://www.solo.com.ph or follow Solo on Facebook or Twitter.
