When the boys were born, my Dutch husband and his brother Victor were really hoping the kids would play football and play for the Netherlands team. But having been brought up in the Philippines, the boys naturally took up basketball instead. My son Markus was already dribbling a ball before he could even speak at 1.5 years old.
Our boys are extremely passionate about basketball, particularly the NBA.

So despite last night’s Friday traffic, I dropped everything to go to the VIP opening of the NBA store at Glorietta 3.
After the opening of NBA Cafe at SM Aura comes the NBA store, located where CPK used to be.
We’re talking about two floors and more than 1,000 square meters of retail space. This is the largest NBA store outside of the USA, which probably means our economy is good 
The store carries authentic NBA merchandise from all 30 teams. You’ll find head-to-toe gear for all ages and great holiday gifts, starting with adorable kiddie clothes (for early conditioning)
