Thin, curly hair is in my DNA on both sides, so you could say that hair is one of the biggest frustrations of my life.
I really envy girls with thick straight hair. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for effective hair products.
Recently, Watsons sent me this huge Beauty Box called Hair Wonders.
So heavy, it contains 13 full-size hair care products, all exclusively available at Watsons.
When searching for hair products, I try to look for brands that aren’t supermarket mainstream.
Right away, I chose the Aloe Derma set first and I’ve been using the shampoo for a week. I love it and would buy it again! For someone with thin hair I don’t even need conditioner anymore.
The scalp tonic I’ve yet to try.
I’ve heard so much about the benefits of Argan oil so I am interested in this bottle of hair vitamins.
Morocco Argan contains 10 capsules and to use, take a pair of scissors and cut off the tip, and squeeze the contents onto damp hair. I will try this next.
My friend Rem has blonde-dyed beach hair (she loves the sun) so I gave her two products—Palty hair dye from Japan which should be easy to apply because it comes in a mousse form, and in a few other colors
Rem swears by L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil, which is a nourishing mask, leave-on product and night treatment.
Unlike me, Rem prefers oily products to tame her hair mermaid-like hair, and last time I saw her, her hair looked amazing!
Hair Fix Miracle Hair Fiber works like fiber mascara—you apply it to the thinning part of your hair, while the Locking Hair Spray should secure the bond.
I’ve seen infomercials on this kind of product, but I’m really scared of it I think it would work better on a guy.
Moist Diane is a popular Japanese brand and the set includes Moist Shampoo and Treatment (Japanese for conditioner). Love the bottles. I’ll try the shampoo.
Watsons Beauty Box also contains three Salon Professionals treatments for different concerns: damaged hair, frizzy hair, and dry hair.
I’ve figured out a way to do hair treatments at home without the salon bill:
Buy one of these tubs, apply to hair, and cover with a disposable plastic shower cap (mine were nicked from hotel rooms).
Leave it on for 15-30 minutes before hitting the shower and washing it off. I’ve found that this works just as well as going to the salon.
Two products I can use for my son who has stick-straight hair are Toni&Guy Casual Forming Spray Gel (in blue) and Gatsby Moving Lock Spray (hot pink)
This guy is due for a haircut again
