On our second day, Sayoko treated Jeroen and I to a special lunch at the Mandarin to try Chef Hirota’s dishes.

Sayoko wanted to treat us for our wedding anniversary, which was actually last November. We had cancelled our annual honeymoon in Tokyo to donate instead to Yolanda victims.
