My driver’s daughter was in Tacloban yesterday during Typhoon Yolanda. He hasn’t heard from his son yet and I don’t know what to say or how to help him, since lines are down and physically going there now isn’t such a great idea.
Our cable TV is down and I’ve been able to watch snippets of news online.
Times like these, I find it hard to function normally.
Ted Failon tells how bad it really was.
Google has a Person Finder for Yolanda. I hope people with Internet get to use it to help others find loved ones.
Here’s the link.

UPDATE: They found my driver’s daughter and she’s OK! And thank God the cable is back on!
