Last night's crispy pata photo did not help. For merienda today, Jay and I ate something local—sisig at Dencio's.
When sisig is crunchy and sizzling hawt—as Hayden Kho would say—it makes me proud to be a Filipino.
Don't forget an ice-cold glass of Coke and two cups of plain rice for me and Jay.
The rice came first. When it was served the waiter announced, "P.R."
"What?" Jay said.
"Plain rice, sir."
Geez, Pinoys really love to abbreviate everything.
Would G.R. then be garlic rice and J.R. java rice?
If you're really hungry, order E.R.
If you're on a budget, H.R.
And if you're at Pepper Lunch, why not have some B.P.R.?
