I know prom season is over.
I don’t have daughters, so I don’t have to fuss about prom dresses. But I’ve been my friends’ daughters, my niece, all over Instagram and Facebook. I know prom dresses are slim pickings here and can be very expensive.
But with Internet, Googling skills, and Johnny Air, it is easy to find good dresses at reasonable prices.
Take H&M’s recently launched Conscious Exclusive, a partywear collection made from more sustainable materials, like organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel.
The collection features clothing and accessories for both men and women, and is part of H&M’s Conscious work to offer more sustainable fashion.
A corseted dress with seemingly endless layers of tulle feels like it’s stepped out of the old world ($199)
A dress with pleated ruffles ($79.95)
A demure white dress evokes rock and roll romance with its sheer sleeves, asymmetric train and bird embroidery ($299)
A fringed dress in black ($199)
A floor-length dusty pink gown that is elegant in front and bare in the back is made from 100% recycled polyester ($59.95)
The Conscious Exclusive collection is now available in around 140 stores worldwide as well as online at http://www.hm.com/
