Cameron Diaz takes on an exciting new role—as TAG Heuer’s ambassador and muse for the new LINK LADY collection.
The new range is dedicated to beautiful and rebellious women around the world.
Cameron Diaz’s climb to the top is unusual because she started at the top.
In 1994, she starred in her very first movie—opposite Jim Carrey in The Mask, which made her an instant star.
Then, she defied convention by choosing small, independent films like The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota, and Head Above Water, followed by ensemble films and blockbusters that achieved both critical acclaim and box office success around the world.
Her role as Lotte Schwarz in Being John Malkovich was a creative gamble that paid off as went on to star in blockbuster hits like My Best Friend’s Wedding, There’s Something About Mary and Charlie’s Angels.
On her recent partnership with TAG Heuer, President and CEO Jean-Christophe Babin says, “Cameron has been so interested in what goes in to making a luxury watch–about the designs, and about our brand in general–that I knew she was the perfect choice to help us launch this new series. The LINK LADY, will reach out further to our female market, with products that appeal to women all around the world.”
“I want a watch that is more than just a timepiece, it should be like my favorite piece of jewelry,” says Diaz.
“The new Link Lady is modern yet timeless, sexy and elegant and I’m equally comfortable wearing it on the red carpet or in my day-to-day life.”
Her three-year partnership with TAG Heuer will also serve to benefit and raise awareness for programs that empower women, including UN Women. “I am deeply appreciative that TAG Heuer shares my desire to support women who are not free to pursue even the most basic goals, simply because of their gender,” says Ms. Diaz.
