I’m not a huge fan of Illac Diaz*, but I couldn’t help but watch this video three times—once with my husband and once with my son. While we were impressed by the idea of recycling PET bottles to build classrooms, my 10-year-old son wondered if the PET-bottle solar “light bulb” would be functional at night—when light is most needed by the poor?
