As a mother of boys, it used to hurt passing by little girls’ clothes and not having someone to buy them for. But after the third boy came along, I learned to adjust and no longer have daughter envy.
The boys haven’t stopped asking for a little girl though, so it’s still part of the plan about two years from now—hoping that God will give us the right baby girl and a bigger house cause we have no more space! (My house is seriously filled with swag, my room looks like an episode of Hoarders!)
And speaking of girls, Belgian-America designer Diane von Furstenberg is known for bold prints and wrap dresses such as these
Now imagine them on little girls, ages newborn to 14.
For Spring 2012, DVF collaborates with GapKids and babyGap to create summer wardrobe essentials such as T-shirt dresses, tanks and shorts, capris, leggings and swimwear. Even the iconic wrap dress is reinvented with a higher waist.
At the heart of the collection are the vintage prints DVF is known for. Accessories include sunglasses, espadrilles, hats, and sandals.
The collection launches exclusively at GAP Shangri-La Plaza and GAP Bonifacio High Street this March 2012.
