When we were kids, the typhoons and flooding usually came in June when school started. But weather has shifted, and now it comes in September and October. It even rains during Christmas. So it doesn’t make sense to move the start of the school year from June to Septemnber.
Typhoon Milenyo was on September 28, 2006
Typhoon Ondoy, September 26, 2009
Typhoon Pedring, September 27, 2011
So guys, make a mental not and don’t plan events and trips during these times.
Another thing, even though it’s very tempting to pig out during a storm, you must stop yourself from ordering delivery during typhoons, because the delivery boys become casualties. Yes, they die. You don’t want people to die just because you had a pizza craving do you?
